Remote / homeworking and London
I’m a writer and editor with over 15 years’ experience. I’ve worked with many charities and NfPs, and am skilled at writing for different audiences and keeping tone on brand. I’m great at getting to grips with a brief, finding creative solutions and enjoy communicating complex information in a clear and accessible way.
Please get in touch if you need help with any print or digital copy: web content, emails, annual reports, blogs, fundraising materials, brochures, pitch decks, social media.
London but can relocate temporarily if needed
I work with charities and not-for-profits to put people at the centre of their work, building exciting digital engagement strategies to get new and existing supporters excited about your cause. I work collaboratively, bringing teams together to develop solutions and skills.
This includes developing effective strategies, supporter journeys and tactics that mobilise thousands of people; mapping who you need to talk to and crafting what to say; and creating content and copywriting for websites, emails and social media.

The Right Ethos was set up after our founder, Jonathan Dearth, had worked in the campaigning sector for 13 years, for campaigning organisations including Amnesty International, Shelter, Liberty and the World Development Movement. It was set up as a response to multi-sector recruitment consultancies moving in on the charity sector, and in particular not recognising that people who work for campaigning organisations are motivated by justice and long term change.
